Clouds Computing Facts with examples

In this modern world of technology, everything is available on the internet. Whether it is a piece of information or a service, the internet can provide anything. Cloud computing is the on-demand service of computer resources over the internet, with pay as you go pricing. Many questions arise from all of these in your mind.

“What do on-demand IT services mean? Or what do you mean by pay as you go pricing?”

Don’t worry. I will explain everything so that by the end of the article, you will understand well enough that you at some point used cloud computing too!

Cloud computing is the method of using computer power, databases, servers without owning or managing them.

Isn’t that convenient? Cloud providers can provide many services like platform as a service (PaaS), software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), and many more. Suppose you are running a marketing agency and you receive way too many emails every day. All these emails can be backed up in a cloud service for data recovery so that even if your computers get infected with a virus or something, you can instantly get back all your important emails. Take a gaming company as another example. There are so many online games these days. If you want to launch an online action game, you must use cloud computing to make that exciting game available to the online community.

Cloud providers can also provide video streaming solutions, data analysis, application creation, etc. Cloud computing can be either public when the service provided is available for anyone on the internet or, it can be private where the service is for discreet use for clients. Many companies give these IT services like Google, Amazon, IBM, etc. The best thing about cloud computing is that you only pay for the services you use! No extra cost! That’s why cloud computing can reduce your cost, increase your computing efficiency without your maintenance or ownership. However, as everything on the internet is always at risk, cloud computing is too. Many hackers can go past all the security and encryption to steal your financial records or sensitive information.

Cloud computing is an essential part of our daily lives as many companies, streaming services that we rely on use it daily. So, now you know everything you need to know about cloud computing and more!

  4. Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources—for example networks, servers, storage, applications and services—that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.
